Isn't it ironic that even in prison convicts can still do terrible things and harm others?
Well yesterday at about 4:30 p.m. thousands of inmates rioted at Reeves County Detention Center
in Texas. They stated that as many as 2,080 prisoners contributed to the riot.
It's unknown what prompted the riots, plus the disturbance was responded to by several other law enforcement agencies. Apparently this wasn't the first time a riot occurred at this facility.
On December 12, the inmates took two guards hostage and then set the recreation center on fire.
This riot was an attempt to gain a list of many demands they had, but the day of the 12 they surrendered.
Now wouldn't you agree with me that it's just ridiculous for inmates to get a second chance at prison, especially when they have done something like this on their first chance?
